▫گاهی اوقات حروف اضافه همراه واژه‌ها به کار برده می‌شوند و واژه معنایی جدید می‌گیرد. برای مثال اگر  on بعد از keen  قرار گیرد برای نشان دادن اشتیاق است.

▫Keen on sb/sth: someone who is keen on something is very interested in it or enjoys doing it very much.

▫کسی که مشتاق چیزی است که بسیار به آن علاقه‌مند است یا از انجام دادن آن بسیار لذت می‌برد.
